Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Limited was set up in 1992 with the aim of providing advisory and transaction services on the Bombay Stock Exchange. This was extended to the National Stock Exchange a couple of years later.
In 1996, it was among the first set of firms which secured licenses to provide Portfolio Management Services (PMS - Registration No. INP000000241).
While it currently manages a Scheme called 'Cognito', it has ceased to accept new clients for the past decade or so.
It is also the Sponsor of PPFAS Mutual Fund. The Fund launched its first Scheme in May 2013 and currently five Schemes.
