Sahil is the founder of Synage Software Pvt. Ltd. (www.synage.com) - a software as a service (SaaS) company based out of Mumbai, India. Synage Software's first product, DeskAway was one of the first few on-demand services to be designed, developed and marketed from India for small businesses globally. His book, The SaaS Edge (How companies can leverage Software As A Service for competitive advantage) was published by Tata McGraw-Hill in early 2011.

Sahil, a tech-enthusiast and an entrepreneur, returned from the U.S after almost 8 years to start a technology company in India, whilst also being the founder of a successful web company in the US. While most people were concentrating on the BPO and outsourcing business, Mr. Parikh's dream was to build a product that would provide value to thousands of businesses around the world, and most importantly, one that is conceptualized and developed in India.

Sahil holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematical Sciences - Computer Science strain from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a Founding Alumni Member of the Carolina Entrepreneurship Club, a member of the TiE India and on the executive committee of the American Alumni Association.
